Hello! My name is Dessa and I am a 5-month-old, 30 lb female. I will be spayed once I am 6 months old and will go on a spay contract if I am adopted before then. I am doing well with housetraining and am already crate-trained. I am still a puppy so I will need to be crated when I am left home alone.
I am a sweet girl who has done well with men, women, and children after some time to warm up. Once I know you, I will actively seek affection and love spending time with my people. I would love a quieter home.
I have done well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a canine sibling or two! I love to run around in the yard with my foster siblings. I enjoy having toys around and particularly enjoy a ball or squeaky toy! I have also been known to relax with a chew bone. I cannot go to a home with cats.
I have been working on some skills and have learned sit, leave it, quiet, and off. I am a bit unsure of the leash but will walk with you. I ride well in the car once I’m lifted in! I would love to find a family where I can continue my training and confidence building. Could you be my family?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
