Hi! My name is Balsam and I am an 18-month-old, 65 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained. I do well gated in the kitchen when left home alone at my foster home. I am not a fan of crates so crate-training is a work in progress.

I am very affectionate with my trusted people and my foster mom described me as a Velcro Dog as I’m always near her relaxing or asking for snuggles! I have anxiety with new people: I will bark at them and take time to warm up. I need a family who will continue working with me to gain confidence around new people and can understand my body language to help push me appropriately without overdoing it.

Hello! My name is Bette and I am a 1-year-old, 40 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and have been working hard on my crate-training. I am comfortable in my crate if I can see a person. I currently take daily fluoxetine to help me manage significant separation anxiety. I have been working with my foster mom on controlled, incremental exposures to being left alone and am currently up to about 4 hours in a secure crate—though some regression should be expected with the transition to a new home. I will need someone willing to continue working with me on this.​

I have coexisted well with adults, with a preference for women, though I am very shy and don’t seek much interaction. I will accept calm affection from my foster mom. Most of the time I am happy to people watch from afar. I will need someone willing to be patient as I come around to them and my surroundings in my new home; I had had no or minimal human contact prior to coming to Echo Dogs so this human world is all new to me and I have been trying hard to learn!

Hello! My name is Saige and I am a 6-year-old, 70 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained if kept on a schedule and am crate-trained. I don’t seem to need crated when left alone as long as the trash is inaccessible to me.

​

I am a great cuddler and love to snuggle with my foster mom! I can be hesitant and need a few minutes to warm up when meeting new people. I am hand-shy with men and won’t allow them to pet me, so I would do best in a female-only home. I have done well with older, respectful children. I love belly rubs from my trusted people and bringing you stuffies!
